Trent Pobst smacked a two-run home run and had a double to lead the Scott City baseball to a 7-5 to victory over host Meadow Heights on Thursday.

Pobst went 3 for 4 at the plate and drove in five of Scott City's seven runs. Caden Hillemann added a double for the Rams (13-11).

Lane Baremore took the loss on the mound for Meadow Heights (7-8). He pitched six innings and gave up seven runs (four earned) on six hits. He struck out two and walked three. He also tripled and had two RBIs.

Cole Nichols belted a double and went 3 for 4 at the plate as the Bell City baseball team wrapped up Stoddard County Activities Association Conference play with a win at home.

Austin Hicks was the winning pitcher and also doubled for Bell City (15-2, 4-1). He threw a complete game and gave up one earned run with five strikeouts and five walks.

Dawson Mayo sustained the loss on the mound for Advance (4-13, 1-4). He went the distance and allowed six earned runs. He had 10 strikeouts and walked two.

Jacob Priggel blasted a double and went 3 for 4 at bat with four RBIs as the Eagles scored a run in each inning to claim their 10th win of the season in the six-inning road rout.

Hunter Schlosser went the distance on the mound for Oran (10-3). He allowed three earned runs and had 10 strikeouts and two walks. He also went 2 for 5 at the plate and batted in two runs.

Preston Hahn added a double and Drew Reischman tallied four RBIs for the Eagles.

Keagan Cooper was the losing pitcher. He threw 3 2/3 innings and gave up nine runs (three earned) on nine hits. He had two strikeouts and walked three.

Landon Johnson doubled twice and Jacob Long drove in two runs to pace Woodland (9-8).

Leopold used a fifth-inning grand slam by Ashlyn Bucher in the nightcap of a doubleheader to sweep the Blue Jays on the road.

Bucher's blast came in a six-run inning after the Blue Jays scored six runs in the top of the inning. Freshman Brooke Horrell was the winning pitcher for Leopold, which was the home team in the second contest.

Emily Seiler had three hits for Leopold (14-1).

Lexi Vandeven was the winning pitcher in the opener. She struck out nine and allowed six hits.

Shelby Schreckenberg had a triple for the Wildcats, while Bucher and Leah Landewee both had a double and three hits apiece.

Jessica Hahs sustained both losses in the circle to pace Oak Ridge (7-9).
