St. Vincent closed out its regular season with a 49-21 loss to Jefferson on the road.
The Indians surrendered 463 yards of offense on the ground in the game. Two Jefferson players finished with more than 100 yards rushing and eight players contributed to the ground game overall.
St. Vincent trailed 21-0 at halftime and scored all of its points in the third quarter.
Quarterback Trent Elder completed 12 of his 19 passes for 173 yards. He threw for two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Trenton Gremaud was on the receiving end of both touchdowns. He finished with four catches for 97 yards. Jessie Francis also caught four passes for a total of 26 yards.
Alex Winkler rushed for St. Vincent's other score. He carried the ball 15 times for 94 yards.
Gremaud led the Indians' defense with 12 tackles, including one for a loss. Francis and Levi Gotto added six tackles each.
St. Vincent dropped to 5-4 this season while Jefferson improved to 4-4.
The Indians will host Hayti (3-5) in its Class 1 district quarterfinal this week. Jefferson will host Scott City (4-4) in a Class 2 district opener.
The Pirates dropped their regular-season finale on the road and fell to 3-6 this season. Herculaneum improved to 7-2.
Perryville will travel to Sikeston, the Class 4 District 1 top seed, for a playoff matchup this week.
