Kevin Mattingly singled in the seventh inning to plate the winning run in the St. Vincent baseball team's 5-4 victory over Leopold on Thursday.

Taylor Sauer earned the win in relief by pitching 1 2/3 innings. He also doubled twice in the win.

Gregg Davis suffered the loss for the Wildcats. He was one of five pitchers for Leopold in its regular-season finale.
