Before last Friday it had been 10 years since Sikeston had beaten rival Notre Dame on the road in boys soccer.
After Thursday, Sikeston has now done it twice in a week.
Lifted by a second-half goal from Audi Hay, Sikeston took down Notre Dame 2-1 to pick up its sixth win of the season.
Notre Dame (3-2) was forced to play from behind much of the game. Sikeston's Chase Baran scored 24 minutes into the contest off a corner kick from Layton Jones.
Ben Parsons pulled the Bulldogs even 10 minutes before the intermission on a shot that was initially blocked by Sikeston goalkeeper Caleb Hampton before rolling back into the net.
Only 20 minutes remained in the contest when Sikeston took the lead for good, thanks to another well-placed pass from Jones, who lobbed a free kick from near the left corner in front of the net.
A Sikeston forward was unable to get off a shot, but Hay crashed in from the right side of the box and headed the ball into the back of the net.
Sikeston moved to 6-2-1 on the season.
