All the area high school events reported Tuesday to the Southeast Missourian.

Josh Boese provided the power to cap his team's rally.

Boese smacked a walk-off hit in the bottom of the ninth inning to lead Scott County Central past Chaffee 7-6 in baseball action Tuesday.

Boese also drilled a homer in the seventh to force extra innings. He finished 4 for 5 and also earned the win on the mound.

Alex Davie led the Red Devils by going 3 for 5 with two RBIs.

Chaffee starter Alex Crowe struck out 10 over five innings.

The Cardinals had six batters with multiple hits in a high-scoring road win.

Kendra Pinkley and Becky Brannon both connected for a triple with Pinkley going 3 for 6 and Brannon 2 for 6.

Juliet Dickey went 3 for 6, while Amy McFarland picked up the win on the mound as Woodland improved to 2-2.

Kelsey Kennedy connected for a home run in the loss.

Jessica Baremore took the loss for the Panthers.

Goalkeeper Allison Ernst made one save in the shutout.

The Bulldogs fell to 1-3 with the road loss.

Lindsey Strieker was in goal for Notre Dame.
