Javonta Daniel tallied a game-high 21 points as the Class 2 state-ranked Scott County Central Braves hung on to defeat the Kelly Hawks 73-60 in a boys basketball game Tuesday at Scott County Central High School.
The Hawks led by one point at halftime before the Braves responded with a strong performance in the fourth quarter.
Tre Moore netted 15 points, and Jeffery Porter chipped in 14 points for SCC (18-4). Drake Kesler recorded 13 points, six rebounds and five steals, while Matt Blissett tallied 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists for the Braves.
