All the local high school events reported Monday to the Southeast Missourian.

Carly Howell netted a game-high 14 points as the Scott City girls basketball team squeezed out a 36-31 conference win over host Delta on Monday night.

Michaela Kiefer recorded seven points and seven rebounds for Scott City (2-16), while Natalie Woods tallied 16 rebounds and four points.

Selina Smith had nine points to pace Delta (8-11).

Kaylee Scherer drained 20 points and grabbed five rebounds to help the Hawks get the win at home.

The Hawks led by 12 points at halftime and went on to outscore the Indians by 18 points in the second half.

Tessa Johnson netted 12 points and Tori Duenne chipped in 10 points to lead Kelly (15-6). Stephanie Worth grabbed 10 rebounds to go along with her eight points for the Hawks.

Kaytlynn Haynes scored a game-high 24 points to pace Puxico (8-13), while Faith Oliver added 12 points.

Dexter freshman Krysten Garrison scored a game-high 31 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and recorded three steals as the host Bearcats downed the Bulldogs.

Hannah Thurmon tallied a triple-double with 15 rebounds, 12 points and 10 blocked shots for Dexter (13-8). Melanie McKuin notched 16 points, six assists, five rebounds and three steals for the Bearcats.

Hayli Chapman netted 12 points to lead Notre Dame (5-16), and Brooke Blankenship added 11 points. Allie Ziegler recorded 10 points and five rebounds, Sam Brennan dished out 11 assists and Cheyenne Sander had five rebounds and two blocked shots for the Bulldogs.

Brianna Stause scored 11 points and dished out five assists for Oran (11-9), while Tatum May had eight points, five rebounds and two blocked shots. Kaylen Glastetter grabbed seven rebounds for the Eagles.

Freshman Krista Rhodes recorded a game-high 15 points to pace Woodland (9-10).
