High school roundup: Saxony wins most races, but not three-team meet

Saxony Lutheran won seven of 12 events in a three-team girls swimming meet in Perryville but the Crusaders finished third Monday.

St. Vincent's Lizz Brueckner won a pair of individual events, finishing first in the 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly, to help the Indians win the meet with 102 points. Perryville was second with 94 and Saxony Lutheran third with 88.

Lucy Gage won the 100 and 200 freestyles, and also swam legs on the victorious 200 and 400 freestyle relays for the Crusaders.

Perryville's Dezi Buhler won the diving.
