Colin Schirmer had a double-double with 19 points and 15 rebounds as the 11th-seeded Pirates fell to the No. 6 Tigers in the first round of the 58th Annual Bob Sechrest Jr. Christmas Tournament at Park Hills Central High School.

The Pirates trailed by only two points at halftime but were outscored by six points in the second half.

Luke Schlichting added 16 points for Perryville (3-4).

Arcadia Valley's Levi Earnest recorded a game-high 21 points for the Tigers (4-3).

Alex Winkler sank 13 points as the sixth-seeded Indians were defeated by No. 3 Kingston in the first round of the Third Annual Warrior Winter Classic at Valle Catholic High School in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.

Kevin Mattingly recorded seven rebounds to go along with his seven points for St. Vincent (0-6).

Kingston's Dayton Shepard had a game-high 20 points for the Cougars (5-3).

Perryville 55, St. Paul Lutheran 36

Kylie Belik recorded 19 points, six assists and five steals to lead No. 5 Perryville to victory as the Pirates eliminated eighth-seeded host St. Paul Lutheran from its own inaugural tournament in a consolation semifinal.

Perryville senior Allison Moldenhauer notched 18 points, eight assists and five rebounds in the win. She also tallied 16 steals that shattered the school record for number of steals in a single game, which had stood at 12 from the 2008-2009 season.

"Our guards really did a great job for us today," Perryville coach Vicki Lohmann said.

St. Paul Lutheran's Catherine Mell had a game-high 22 points to pace the Giants (2-3).

Perryville (4-4) will return to the court on Monday at 4:30 p.m. when the Pirates will take on No. 3 Viburnum for the consolation title. The Blue Jays avoided an upset from No. 7 Lesterville 40-35 in Friday's other consolation semifinal.
