All the local high school events reported Thursday to the Southeast Missourian.

Logan Sprandel netted three goals and had three assists to lead the Saxony Lutheran soccer team to an 8-3 victory at home over Eagle Ridge.

Anthony Etzold and Hunter Coe both added two goals, while Zach Beal had one. Joe Rubach had two assists, while Collin Sprandel and Brandon Fritsche both had one.

JV -- Saxony lost 2-6.

Volleyball

Bernie 25 25 Zalma 6 9

Zalma remained winless with a two-game road loss.

Katelynn Wheetly had one kill and Savanah Rogers had one ace for Zalma (0-15-1).

Marion 25 25 Central 12 18

The Tigers were swept in a home loss.

Libby Hulcy had five kills and Alle Graham had three digs for Central (6-12-1).

Scott City 25 25 25 Bell City 18 15 20

Scott City junior Hailey Clayton had nine kills and Jessica Boswell had seven kills to help the Rams to a road sweep.

The Rams improved to a 5-9-1.

Woodland 15 25 25 Bloomfield 25 13 20

Keighlynn Lincoln had two aces, 17 digs and eight kills to help the Cardinals win in three sets.

Shelby Sawyer had three aces and eight kills, while Josie Long had nine kills, two blocks and 10 digs to help the Cardinals improve to 10-9-1. Cathlyn Cooper had 19 kills, while Shania Lincoln dished out 48 assists.

Advance 25 27 Puxico 21 25

Liza Gray, Aimie Simmers and Grayson Miles each contributed four kills in the road win.

Allie Below recorded eight assists to help the Hornets (16-3).

JV -- Advance lost 25-22, 25-27, 22-25.

Perryville 23 25 25 Saxony Lutheran 25 10 14

Alex Spears had four aces to lead the Pirates to their 17th win, which came at home.

Kristen Triller added eight kills and Ashley Bachmann had 14 assists for Peryville (17-3).

Lauren Hecht had four kills, while Raegan Wieser had three kills and four blocks for the Crusaders. Kirsti Polhman had 10 assists.

Leopold 25 25 Oran 9 17

Leopold sophomore Caitlin Petty had seven kills, three aces and eight assists in the Wildcats' road victory.

Alli Woodfin contributed with two kills and four digs, while Sydney Eeftink had three kills, two aces, 12 assists and five digs for Leopold (16-3).

Katelyn Kuppart and Laina Marble both won singles matches in the Indians' road win.

Kuppart also teamed with Marble for a victory in doubles.

The Bulldogs won the tri-meet at Southeast Missouri State Aquatic Center.

Notre Dame senior Dustin Parsons finished first place in the 100 butterfly with a state qualifying time of 54.93 and the 100 breastroke with a time of 1:08.48.

Jackson, which finished third, was led by senior Kristian Troxel, who won the 500 freestyle in 5:05.40.
