All the local high school events reported Monday to the Southeast Missourian.

Brianna Mueller scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Crusaders into the championship game of the Class 3 District 2 Tournament with a 54-36 victory over fourth-seeded St. Pius X of Festus, Mo.

Raegan Wieser sank 11 points and Maddie Brune snagged nine rebounds for Saxony Lutheran (21-4) in the victory.

Alex Linderer knocked in a team-high 19 points to pace the Lancers as St. Pius X closed the season with a record of 18-8.

Saxony Lutheran, the district's defending champion, will face second-seeded Arcadia Valley for the district title on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Clearwater High School in Piedmont, Mo. The Tigers (21-6) nipped third-seeded host Clearwater 47-46 in the other semifinal.

Annie Siebert recorded 15 points, five assists and four steals in the state-ranked Bulldogs' big victory over crosstown rival Central in a regular-season game at the Show Me Center.

Kaitlin Welter added 12 points for the Bulldogs. Halle Lynch tallied 10 points, five rebounds and four steals while Shelby Beussink notched 10 points, five rebounds and two steals for Notre Dame (18-2). Taylor Feeney also grabbed six rebounds for the Bulldogs in the win.

Central's Kassidy Pannier scored 12 points, all from behind the arc, to pace the Tigers (5-19).

Cassidi Tomsu netted 13 points as the Indians as fell on the road to the state-ranked Bearcats.

Rachel Crites tossed in 10 points for Jackson (13-9).

For Dexter (21-3), Hannah Noe and Erika Cobb had game-high 26 points apiece. Paige Patterson added 10 points for the Bearcats.

Paige Porter finished with a game-high 14 points for Ste. Genevieve (12-14) and Katie Palmer added 11 points for the Dragons.

Nathan Carroll finished with 15 points as the seventh-seeded St. Vincent boys basketball team came to an end at to second-seeded host New Haven in the opening round of the Class 2 District 4 Tournament.

Alex Winkler added 10 points for the Indians as St. Vincent closed its season with a record of 8-16.

For New Haven (17-8), Kyle Ruediger posted a game-high 17 points as the Shamrocks advanced to the semifinals where they will face sixth-seeded Crossroads College Preparatory, the team that upset third-seeded Valle Catholic 58-53 and ended the Warriors' season in one of last night's other quarterfinals.
