Chase Steffens scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed six rebounds to help the Saxony Lutheran boys basketball team fend off the Jefferson Blue Jays and clinch third place in the Rolla "Duke" Herbert Classic in Crystal City, Missouri, on Friday.

Elwood Voss tallied 17 points and 13 rebounds for Saxony Lutheran (2-1). Paris Johnson added seven points and five rebounds for the Crusaders.
