Caitlin Petty recorded 11 kills, six assists, five digs and four blocks as the Leopold Wildcats volleyball team beat the visiting Jackson Indians 25-14, 26-24 in straight sets Thursday.

Bailee Cope tallied five kills, three digs, two blocks and two aces for Leopold (17-2-3). Ashlyn Bucher added six digs and three kills while Leah Landewee notched nine digs and Emily Seiler had eight assists and six digs for the Wildcats.

JV -- Jackson won 25-21, 25-9

Perryville 25 25, Jefferson 19 18

Alex Spears nailed 12 kills as the Pirates swept the Blue Jays on the road in Festus, Missouri.

Brooke Hogard added eight kills for Perryville (15-6-1). Kayla Buxton dished out 16 assists and Libbi Schnurbusch tallied nine digs for the Pirates.

Jefferson fell to 11-10-1.

JV -- Jefferson (Festus) won 25-14, 25-20

Saxony Luth. 25 25 25, Meadow Hts. 27 20 21

Raegan Wieser led with 11 kills and 10 digs in the Crusaders' victorious three-set road thriller.

Amber Bergmann put up three blocks for Saxony Lutheran (10-9-3). Abigail Bergmann had eight digs and three aces, while Brianna Mueller tallied 14 assists and eight digs for the Crusaders.

Meadow Heights dropped to 12-12.

JV -- Saxony Lutheran won 25-15, 25-11

Woodland 25 25, Scott City 11 12

Lexie King had four kills and nine digs to lead the Cardinals in the road victory over the Rams.

Krista Rhodes added four kills and six digs for Woodland (13-10-1), while Chelsea Cureton had a team-high 17 digs. Madison Cover contributed four assists for Woodland, and teammate Vanessa Wiseman had three.

Liz Hensley tallied five digs to pace Scott City (5-12), while Anna Kern served two aces.

JV -- Woodland won 25-19, 25-12

Advance 25 25, Zalma 16 9

Brylee Morse nailed seven kills as the Hornets picked up the easy win at home over the Bulldogs.

Krystal James added six kills for Advance (13-11-2). Maddie Kennedy served four aces, and Lexis Garner notched five digs for the Hornets. Ashtyn Driskill dished out 14 assists.

Zalma faltered to 2-16-3 with the loss.

JV -- Advance won 25-12, 25-11

Windsor 25 25, St. Vincent 16 22

The Indians fell in two sets to the Owls on the road in a battle of the state-ranked teams in Imperial, Missouri.

Class 3 state-ranked Windsor improved to 19-3-1, while Class 1 state-ranked St. Vincent fell to 14-8.

JV -- St. Vincent won 25-10, 23-25, 25-17

Notre Dame 25 25 Sikeston 12 13

Notre Dame came away with an easy road victory in the battle of the Bulldogs.

Notre Dame upped its record to 14-5-1. Sikeston fell to 6-12-1.

BOYS SOCCER

Saxony Lutheran 8, Festus 0

Ryan Palmer and Dusty Lorenz scored three goals apiece to lead the Crusaders in the romp of the Tigers at home.

Luke LeGrand recorded two assists and one goal and Jake Wyatt added one goal for Saxony Lutheran (4-9-1). Joe Rubach added two goals while Luke Daniel and Drew Zieba had one goal each.

Goalkeeper Jacob Stueve had 10 saves in the shutout.
