Libbi Schnurbusch recorded seven aces to lead the Perryville volleyball team to a season-opening victory at home against Central.
The Pirates won 25-8, 25-6.
Becky Barber added five aces for Perryville, while Angie Hoehn had four.
Central fell to 1-1 with the loss.

Emily Jackson led Eagle Ridge (1-1) with eight kills, while Hannah Hess added seven kills and seven assists.
Callie Hefner had 10 assists, while Hannah Petzoldt added four aces.
Melinna Craft led Jackson with nine kills in the road loss.
Hailey Mouser added seven kills, while Alexa Kelpe had 16 assists for Jackson (0-1).

Advance won all six games in pool play to take the top spot heading into bracket play.
Liza Gray had 19 kills to lead Advance on the night. Aimie Simmers followed with 18 kills.
Advance defeated Woodland 25-15, 25-11, rolled past Saxony Lutheran 25-14, 25-14 and turned back Leopold 25-20, 25-21.
Leopold won four games for the second seed. Leopold nipped Saxony 25-23, 25-23 and topped Woodland 25-15, 25-5. Saxony won two games to take the third seed, defeating Woodland 25-22, 25-18.
Bell City, Oak Ridge, Zalma and Meadow Heights will play in the second pool Thursday.
Bracket play begins Friday.
