All the local high school sports action from Tuesday that was reported to the Southeast Missourian.

The state-ranked Perryville volleyball team earned a two-game win over Hillsboro on Tuesday.

The Pirates, ranked No. 9 in Class 3, got six kills from Emily Schlimpert in their 25-21, 25-18 win.

Catie Oberndorfer added 13 digs and Megan Moldenhauer put up 18 assists for Perryville (16-7).

JV -- Perryville won 2-0

St. Vincent 26 15 26 St. Pius 24 25 28

The visiting Indians gave the state-ranked Lancers all they could handle.

St. Vincent (13-13-1) won the first game and dropped the next two, including the third game 28-26.

Chelsie Boxdofer led the Indians with 12 kills and 19 digs. Megan Sutterer added seven kills, while Amanda Wengert and Monica Smith both had four blocks. Mackenzie Buehler had 16 digs in the loss.

Scott City 25 25 Puxico 20 15

Katie Diebold put up 18 assists and Jordan McFall added eight as the Rams improved to 19-2.

Brooke Simpson smacked 13 kills to go with six digs, while Katie Hogan had nine digs and nine kills.

Stephanie Essner had six digs and three kills.

JV -- Scott City won 2-0

Bell City 25 25 Saxony 21 16

Jasmine Johnson had five blocks, 11 kills and 18 digs to help the Cubs improve to 15-8.

Alicia Slagley had five kills, while Trisha Slagley helped out with 19 assists in the win.

Holly Schermann smacked five kills and Cassie Simpher recorded four in the loss. Lacey Hemman put up seven assists for Saxony Lutheran.

JV -- Bell City won 2-0

Villa Duchesne 25 25 Jackson 19 10

Jill Rushin put down seven kills to go with six digs in the losing effort.

MaryAnn Bradshaw had four kills and one ace serve, while Rachael Meyr added 12 assists, one ace, six digs and one block for the Indians (18-6).

JV -- Jackson won 2-0

Leopold 25 25 Greenville 10 13

Kirsten Thele led the Wildcats to the home win with 12 kills, while Abby Landewee finished with seven kills and two blocks.

Mallory James had six kills and four blocks, while Lauren Seiler helped out with 23 assists for Leopold (17-2).

Fredericktown 23 25 25 Central 25 20 16

The Tigers got 14 kills, nine digs and three aces from Chelsea Pannier, but it wasn't enough in their home match Monday.

Lexis Nutt added 10 digs, while Katie Williams put down seven kills for Central (8-15-2).

JV -- Central won 25-22, 25-18
