Pablo Mattingly and Lazaro Miranda scored one goal apiece as the Perryville boys soccer team downed Notre Dame 2-1 to win the championship of the Notre Dame SoccerFest on Saturday.
Kyle Wood contributed two assists for Perryville (7-1).
Goalkeeper Trent Unterreiner had four saves.
Devin Ross scored the lone goal for Notre Dame (2-3).
Marion (Ill.) defeated Carbondale (Ill.) 3-1 for consolation, and Poplar Bluff nipped Sikeston 3-2 for seventh place.
Dusty Lorenz netted two goals as the Crusaders rolled to victory over the Bombers to clinch the consolation title of the Hannibal Tournament.
Drew Zieba recorded two assists and one goal for Saxony Lutheran (5-3). Corie Williams added one goal and Luke Daniel had one assist for the Crusaders.
Goalkeeper Jacob Stueve had three saves in the shutout.
The Crusaders advanced to the consolation title game after a 10-0 rout of Lanphier (Springfield, Ill.) earlier in the day. Williams and Jakoata Walther each scored three goals while Lorenz added two goals and one assist for the Crusaders. Williams also had one assist. Luke and Ben Daniel contributed one goal and one assist apiece. Zieba, Micah Mirly and Gavin Steffens tallied one assist apiece.
Goalkeeper Jacob Stueve had three saves in the shutout.
Stueve and Walther were named to the all-tournament team.
Mallorie Maintz hit a double to record the only extra-base hit of the game but it was not enough as the Indians fell short by one run to the host Chargers in the third-place game of the Cor Jesu Academy Haberstroh Invitational at the Kirkwood Sports Complex in the suburban St. Louis area.
Sicily Johnston took the loss for Jackson (5-4). She pitched a complete game and gave up one earned run with four strikeouts and one walk.
Olivia Walter got the win in the circle for Cor Jesu Academy (3-5). She went the distance and allowed one earned run, struck out eight and walked two.

Sophie Wunderlich belted a home run to lead the Indians in an eight-inning victory over the Lions in their last pool play game of the Cor Jesu Academy Haberstroh Invitational.
Wunderlich also went the distance in the circle to clinch the win for Jackson (5-3). She gave up two earned runs, struck out 11 and walked two.
Sabrina Otzenberger endured the loss. She also pitched a complete game and allowed two earned runs. She struck out four and walked two.
Breanna Potthast hit a double and drove in two runs to pace Northwest (6-3).
Jackson lost to Owasso, Oklahoma 12-6 in their first pool play game on Friday and then thumped Affton 11-1 in their second game.

Morgan Duschell blasted a double and got on base all of her four times at bat as the host Bulldogs downed Kelly 12-6 to clinch fifth place in the Notre Dame SoftballFest.
Haylie Santos went the distance in the circle to get the win for Notre Dame, which improved to 7-1. She allowed six earned runs on 13 hits and recorded one strikeout and three walks.
Rylie Gant also doubled and went 3 for 5 at the plate and batted in two runs for the Bulldogs. Payton Friga added a double and two more runs for Notre Dame.
Alexis Dock took the loss for Kelly. She pitched five innings and gave up seven runs (six earned) on 15 hits. She struck out six and walked two. Dock also hit a home run and drove in two runs.
Marissa Worth had a double and batted in two additional runs for the Hawks, who fell to 5-2.
Kelly advanced to the fifth-place game after a 3-1 victory over Chaffee in six innings. Dock pitched four innings and gave up one unearned run on four hits and recorded six strikeouts and four walks to lead the Hawks in the win over the Red Devils.
Carleigh Burnett was the losing pitcher. She also pitched four innings and gave up three runs (one earned) on three hits. She had four strikeouts and walked three to pace Chaffee.
The loss to Kelly sent the Red Devils to the seventh-place game where they defeated Sikeston 7-0 in six innings. Hannah Seyer pitched four innings and gave up no runs on four hits with six strikeouts and one walk to get the win for Chaffee, which improved to 3-4 with the win. Sydney Walker hit a double for the only extra-base hit of the game, and Taylor Crites batted in two runs for the Red Devils.
Kylie Noe sustained the loss for Sikeston, which fell to 3-6 with the loss. She threw four innings and allowed seven runs (three earned) on six hits. She had two strikeouts and walked three.
Sikeston (3-6) was sent to the seventh-place game after a 12-2 loss to Notre Dame.
Saxony Lutheran (5-3) fell to undefeated Republic 9-0 in a championship semifinal which sent the Crusaders to the third-place game where they faced defending Class 3 state champion De Soto. The Dragons fell to Portageville 2-1 in the other semifinal. Results were not available at the time of deadline.

The Indians traveled across the river to compete in the Carbondale Preview Tournament and came back with the first-place trophy after a 25-17, 25-19 sweep of the host Terriers.
Jackson defeated Centralia (Ill.) 25-18, 25-15 to advance to the championship game.
"The team kept their composure in every match and fought for each point with confidence," Jackson head coach Tracy Robinson said. "Everyone contributed to an amazing day."
The Indians finished second in their pool after dropping a three-set thriller to Waterloo (Ill.) 23-25, 25-23, 14-16. The Indians crushed Mount Vernon (Ill.) 25-6, 25-12 and then downed Massac County (Metropolis, Ill.) 23-25, 25-11, 15-10. Jackson improved its record to 6-3 following its clinching of the tournament title.
Autumn Reid and Hannah Hunt were named to the all-tournament team.
Defending Class 3 state champion Helias Catholic swept Dexter 25-13, 25-21 to clinch the championship of the Notre Dame VolleyballFest.
The Crusaders (11-0) posted a flawless 6-0 record in pool play to advance to the Gold Bracket where they downed St. Vincent in the first round.
Dexter advanced after knocking off Class 3 district rival and host Notre Dame in a three-set thriller 25-19, 26-28, 25-23 that dealt the Bulldogs their first loss of the season.
Abbie McAlister recorded 15 kills in the loss for Notre Dame, while Sam Brennan added eight kills and a game-high 15 digs. Marianna Below contributed 11 digs in the losing effort, and Sam Feeney added 31 assists. Briley Bieser was credited with three aces.
The Bulldogs also defeated Perryville earlier in the tournament in straight sets, winning 25-17, 25-14.
McAlister had 10 kills in the win along with seven kills from Brennan. Feeney had 21 assists, ad Lexi Welter and Bieser each had nine digs.

The Tigers placed first in two events and finished seventh overall in the team standings at the Marquette Relays in the suburban St. Louis area.
Reagan Ragsdale set a new state cut in the individual medley relay with a time of 2:03.60 to lead the Tigers to a first-place finish in the event.
