The Oran baseball team completed a perfect Malden tournament with a pair of victories Saturday.
The Eagles shut out Portageville 2-0 in their first game then used an eight-run seventh inning to bury host Malden 14-2.
Zac Chasteen struck out five and scattered four hits over 6 2/3 innings against Portageville.
Kody Moore retired the only batter he faced to earn the save.
Seth Ressel went 2 for 3 with a triple, while Nolan Urhahn was 2 for 3 with an RBI. Oran scored both runs in the first inning.
The Eagles (11-0) and Green Wave were tied 1-1 through four innings before Oran erupted for five runs in the fifth inning to take command.
The Eagles put away the game with eight runs in the seventh.
Dalton Elfrink struck out eight batters over seven innings on the mound and connected for a double at the plate.
Urhahn had three hits, including a double, while Moore had a triple.

Jackson won its last two games of the tournament to place fifth.
The Indians beat Poplar Bluff 5-0 in their first game of the day.
Kasey Crowden netted two goals, while Erin Eakins, Jordan Myer and Haley Mouser each had one goal.
Tori Smith, Alex Sotak, Kaitlyn Crites and Alexa Kelpe each recorded one assist in the win.
Brooke Sanders recorded two saves in goal.
The Indians then defeated Parkway West 3-1 in the fifth-place game.
Crowden, Myer and Hailey Callis each had a goal, while Kylie Seyer and Sotak had an assist.
Sanders allowed one goal and had three saves for the Indians (9-1).
St. Vincent lost to Normal Community High School 2-1 in the championship game in Carbondale, Ill.
Ashlee Wingerter scored the Indians' lone goal. Val Smith earned the assist.
Katie Mattingly recorded seven saves in the loss.
The Indians started the day with a 2-0 win against Champaign Central High School.
Holly Cissell scored the first goal off an assist from Holly Blanford.
Abby Lappe netted the second goal.
Mattingly had four saves to earn the win.
St. Vincent (9-3) then shutout Carbondale 1-0.
Storm French netted the goal, while Mattingly recorded four saves.
The Tigers placed fourth after getting shut out 1-0 by Mount Vernon.
Tat Reagan recorded five saves in the loss.
Central lost to Harrisburg 2-1 earlier in the day.
Brianna Anderson netted the Tigers' lone goal.
Central fell to 3-6 with the losses.
Jackson placed third in the 18-team tournament by shooting a 346 at Crown Pointe Golf Club.
Poplar Bluff won the tournament with a 339, while Eureka took second with a 343.
Tanner Werner led Jackson with a 6-over-par 78.
Rounding out the scoring for the Indians were Brett Leimbach (87), Braxton McDowell (88) and Connor Thrower (93).
