Notre Dame lost to Park Hills 2-1 in the championship game of the Class 3 District 1 softball tournament Thursday in Potosi, Mo.
Notre Dame (21-6) also lost to Park Hills by the same score in last year's final.
Park Hills advanced to the final with a 3-2 win over Perryville (9-17).
The Eagles advanced to the Class 1 District 1 championship with a win over the Tigers.
Aubrianna Jones pitched the shutout for Oran. She struck out seven batters and walked one. Tatum May doubled for the Eagles, who scored twice in the second inning and once in the third.
Oran will face Naylor in the title game at 3 p.m today at Three Rivers Community College.
GIRLS TENNIS
Class 1 District 1
Carly Hopkins and Reagan Kapp of Notre Dame finished first in district doubles play, defeating Dexter's Makayla Waldner and Kendra Stevenson 6-1, 6-2 in the final in Sikeston, Mo.
Hopkins and Kapp earlier swept Dexter's Baylee Cooper and Erica Morgan 6-0, 6-0.
Waldner/Stevenson had advanced to the final with a win over Notre Dame's Madeline Walker and Adele Soutar, who had won two earlier matches.
Notre Dame's Gretta Goodin and Emily Young both lost in the second round of singles play.
Class 2 District 1
Central's Josey Powell defeated Oakville's Kate Giles 6-2, 6-4 in the singles championship match.
Powell, who received a first-round bye, reached the final by sweeping Jackson's Mikelle Culbreth 6-0, 6-0 in the second round and Oakville's Ashlyn Ball 6-1, 6-1 in the semifinals.
The Jackson doubles team of Laina Marble and Lucy Kunz fell to Oakville's Theresa Bergman and Madeline Lanfersieck 6-2, 6-4 in the doubles semifinals. Marble and Kunz rebounded to defeat teammates Julia Lincicum and Amelia Popp for third place.
Bergman and Lanfersieck also beat Central's Ashley Westbrook and Maddie Siefert 6-0, 6-0 in the second round.
Volleyball
Zalma 14-16 Advance 25-25
Krystal James had six kills as Advance won on the road.
Allie Below finished with 18 assists, Kendra Sokolowski had four aces.
Jackson 20-23 Leopold 25-25
Sydney Eeftink had 19 assists, six digs and two kills to lead Leopold.
Denai Arnzen also contributed with seven kills and eight digs.
Notre Dame 25-25, Sikeston 12-7
The Bulldogs improved to 19-2-1 with a win at home.
Lydia Goodson had nine kills, while Claudia Hoffmeister finished with seven assists.
Woodland 25-25 Scott City 19-10
Rachel Pool had 10 kills, six assists and two digs as Woodland won at home.
Vanessa Wiseman finished with 13 assists, three digs and one ace. Josie Long contributed six digs, four kills and three aces, while Chealsea Cureton added 14 digs and one ace.
Saxony Lutheran 25-25, Meadow Hts. 16-12
Courtney Bergman had five kills in the victory at home.
Amber Bergaman had four kills while Kirsti Pohlman and Breanna Mueller both had four digs and three assists.
Soccer
Festus 4, Saxony Lutheran 3 (OT)
Saxony Lutheran took a loss in overtime on the road.
Dusty Lorenz, Hunter Coe and Ryan Palmer scored for the Crusaders (3-12). Luke LeGrand had an assist.
