High school roundup: Notre Dame needs OT to down Sikeston in soccer

Jonathan Clements found the back of the net in the first overtime to lead the Notre Dame soccer team past host Sikeston 1-0 on Thursday.

James Holloway recorded the shutout to help the Bulldogs boost their record to 4-1.

Shawn Hadler took a pass from Taylor Johnson and buried it for the game's lone goal.

Matt Stueve earned the shutout for the Crusaders.

Katie Hogan finished with nine digs, eight kills, six aces and three kill blocks to lead the Rams to the home win.

Mikah Simpson followed with nine digs, four kills and two aces, while Andy Gray had nine assists for Scott City (2-1).

Clearwater 25 24 25 Woodland 10 26 11

Bailey King put down two kills and added nine digs for the Cardinals, who dropped to 1-4.

Keighlyn Lincoln added 12 digs in the losing effort.

JV -- Woodland won 25-16 26-24.
