Poplar Bluff and Notre Dame both finished 25 strokes clear of third-place Sikeston on Monday at the Poplar Bluff Invitational, but it was the host Mules who claimed the title.
Using the score from the fifth player to settle the deadlock at 306, it was the Mules who ultimately edged Notre Dame by one stroke.
Poplar Bluff was led by medalist Nick Woolard, who shot an even-par 71 at Westwood Hills Country Club.
The Mules' Ryan McVey finished runner-up to Woolard with a 73, one stroke better than Notre Dame's Jack Litzelfelner and Nick Cantoni. Brady Dixon (76) and Jonathan Bell (82) rounded out Notre Dame's score.
Central, led by 76s by Travis Simmons and Kobe Franklin, finished fifth at 341, one stroke ahead of Jackson (342). Eli Pike paced the Indians with a 78.
Advance's Brian Whitson shot a 75 to tie for fifth place, but the Hornets only had three golfers and did qualify for the team competition.

Grace Mirly and Maci Daniel both scored two goals as the Crusaders won at home.
Ashlynn Collier got Saxony started with a goal less than two minutes into the game.
Mirly then scored both her goals to give the Crusaders a 3-0 lead at halftime. The first was assisted by Daniel.
Daniel accounted for all the second-half scoring, first depositng a pass from Collier and then knocking in a feed from Maddie Brune.
