The Notre Dame boys golf team captured the Class 3 Sectional 1 title by three strokes Friday at Franklin County Country Club in Washington, Mo.
Cody Cox and Brady Dixon shared medalist honors with St. Francis Borgia's Alex Buschman. All three golfers carded 2-over-par 73s.
Notre Dame's Jake Seabaugh placed fifth with a 75, while Tyler Arpin rounded out Notre Dame's scoring with a 79, which tied for 10th.
Gunnar Knudtson tied for 12th with an 81 for the Bulldogs.
Perryville's Brett Schnurbusch missed the state tournament by a stroke. He tied for 23rd with an 88. Teammate Scott Sanders tied for 41st with a 102.
Notre Dame advanced to the Class 3 state tournament May 14 and 15 at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield, Mo.
Megan Daly scored the lone goal on a penalty kick to lead the Tigers (8-11-1) to the road victory.
Allison Moldenhauer scored three goals to lead the Pirates in the home win.
Libbi Schnurbusch, Natalie Gremaud and Courtney Borden all added a goal and an assist for Perryville.
Natalie Mezo added one goal for the Pirates.
Katlyn Lukefahr and Marinna Mahathath both recorded an assist.
Goalie Miranda Stortz snagged one save for Perryville (10-8).
Ryan Siebert went 3 for 4 and knocked in two runs to help the Tigers earn the road win.
Ethan Dambach earned the win in relief. He struck out four over three innings.
Aaron Wendel started and struck out five over four innings.

The Wildcats ended the spring season with a thriller at home.
