Allyson Bradshaw recorded a steal then converted a basket to give the Notre Dame girls basketball team a one-point lead in the final minute Friday night.

Nerinx Hall got off a potential winning shot but missed, and Notre Dame grabbed the rebound and was able to hold on for the 65-64 home win.

Bradshaw, who already signed to play at Southeast Missouri State next season, finished with a game-high 22 points and five steals, while Summer Burger pulled down 10 rebounds in the win. Madison Huckstep grabbed six rebounds.

Notre Dame shot 40 percent (27 of 67) from the field and outrebounded Nerinx Hall 31-23.

"These girls kept their poise and found a way," Notre Dame coach Renee Peters said.

The Leopold sophomore scored a game-high 31 points to lead the Wildcats to the lopsided victory.

The Wildcats only led by seven points after one quarter before pulling away in the second quarter by outscoring the Tigers 33-20 to open a 20-point lead at the intermission.
