It took two overtimes for the Cor Jesu girls basketball team to subdue Notre Dame.

The Bulldogs forced the first overtime by scoring 20 points in the fourth quarter, but Cor Jesu proved too strong with a 73-67 home win.

Summer Burger scored 19 points and had eight rebounds and three steals, while Miranda Fowler had 18 points and 11 rebounds for Notre Dame (8-6).

Shelby Beussink pulled down eight rebounds and had eight points, while Brooke Bohnert netted 11 for the Bulldogs, who travel to Poplar Bluff on Monday.

The Wildcats shut out the hosts while scoring 30 points in the first quarter to erase any doubt about the outcome.

Kyle Stroder led Leopold (11-5) with 22 points, while Cameron Davis netted 20.

The Wildcats combined for 40 steals in the 70-point win.
