Freshman Caitlyn Palmer set state-qualifying times in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.39 seconds and touched the wall in 1:00.47 in the 100 butterfly for the Indians.
Jackson senior Jeanette Powell placed first in two events as well: 100 freestyle (1:02.12) and 100 backstroke (1:10.15). Teammate Kyleigh Troxel finished ahead of the pack in the 200 individual medley (2:27.18) and 100 breaststroke (1:19.77).
