Notre Dame romped its way to the championship at the Mississippi County wood bat baseball tournament Saturday.
The Bulldogs beat West County 5-1 in the title game. That came after a 22-0 win over Twin Rivers and a 24-0 victory against Charleston on Friday.
Tanner Hiett struck out one over five innings to earn the win, while Colton Young struck out three in two innings for the save Saturday.
Austin Greer and Young both had three hits for Notre Dame (14-0) against West County.
Aaron Tomaszewski was the winning pitcher against Twin Rivers, while Trenton St. Cin picked up the win against Charleston.

Saxony Lutheran failed to score in the championship game, falling to Dexter 5-0.
The Crusaders managed three hits against the Bearcats and struck out 12 times.
Saxony Lutheran (12-2) reached the title game by beating Shawnee, Ill., 6-1 in a semifinal.
Garrett Fritsche improved to 5-0 with a complete-game effort. He struck out six. He helped himself by homering and driving in three.
Chaffee dropped the third-place game, falling to Shawnee 7-3.
Andrew Dooley tripled home two runs, and Joshua Hendrix drove in a run with a single for Chaffee (6-5).
The Red Devils fell to Dexter 9-2 in a semifinal. Hunter Thomason took the loss.

Central posted its second lopsided win in as many days by run-ruling visiting Parkway North.
The Tigers (10-8), who routed Poplar Bluff 13-5 on Friday, banged out 18 hits.
Blake Smith led the way by going 4-for-4 with a triple and a double. Jared Green went 3-for-3, while Ryan Grigaitis and Zach Wilson both added two hits.
Wilson pitched all five innings, allowing six hits and three earned runs. He struck out six and walked one.

Jackson's Jill Rushin was named the girls field events MVP after breaking meet records in the shot put (45 feet, 3 1/2 inches) and the discus (141-4).
Scott City's Stephanie Essner was the girls track events MVP, while Saxony Lutheran's Ross Gage picked up boys track events MVP.
Central's 3,200 relay team of Brittany Moreland, Victoria Schabbing, Veronica Schabbing and Mary Dohogne took first in 10 minutes, 5 seconds.
Central also took first in the distance medley behind the efforts of Moreland, Asia Thomas, Victoria Schabbing and Dohogne (4:10.16).
Veronica Schabbing won the 3,200 in 12:00.56.
On the boys side, Roy Leighton won the 3,200 in 10:48.49 to pace the Tigers.
Potosi Relays
The Notre Dame boys team finished fifth out of 17 schools behind three second-place finishes late Friday.
Wynn McClellan set a school record in the 3,200, finishing in 9 minutes, 42.8 seconds. Logan Davis was second in the 1,600, while Grant Eudy set a school record in the high jump, clearing 6 feet, 4 inches.
Perryville's Garrett Leible was second in the shot put with a throw of 50-10. The Pirates boys team was ninth with 27 points.
Notre Dame's girls finished 15th, while Perryville was 16th.
Allie Job was second and Jill Schnurbusch third in the pole vault for the Bulldogs.
