The win came one week after the Eagles beat Notre Dame in the first round on their way to the tournament title. It was the first loss for NMCC, which fell to 6-1.
Quinn Poythress netted 14 points for Notre Dame (3-2) in the win.
Willie Jimerson had a game-high 20 points for the Eagles.
