Christian Job hit two doubles as the state-ranked Notre Dame baseball team claimed its 14th consecutive victory with a 7-3 conference win against host New Madrid County Central on Monday.
Adam Pope went the distance on the mound for the Bulldogs, giving up two earned runs, striking out four and walking two. The Bulldogs, ranked No, 1 in Class 4 in the Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association poll, improved to 16-3 overall and 5-1 in SEMO Conference play.
Palmer Campbell sustained the loss for the Eagles (6-11, 1-5). He pitched five innings and allowed four earned runs on five hits. He walked six and struck out four.
