John Fennewald nailed nine kills as the Notre Dame boys volleyball team wrapped up their inaugural season with a 25-15, 25-19 sweep of St. Francis Borgia.

Tyler Allen added seven kills for Notre Dame (10-6). Rhett Simmons and Ben Dohogne tallied six kills apiece. Simmons also dished out 10 assists while Collin Kramer added 15 assists for the Bulldogs.

Notre Dame will begin district play next weekend.

Rockwood Summit 4, Notre Dame 1

The Bulldogs were dealt their first loss of the season by Class 3 Rockwood Summit on Saturday afternoon.

Kaitlin Welter scored the lone goal on an assist from MacKenzie McDaniel as the Bulldogs fell to 15-1-1. The Falcons improved to 15-5-1 with the win.

Goalkeeper Madison Buelow grabbed seven saves.
