All of the area high school events reported Monday to the Southeast Missourian.

Notre Dame senior Jane Morrill reached the 1,000-point career milestone as the Bulldogs routed Doniphan at home Monday night in girls high school basketball.

Morrill scored 10 points, grabbed five rebounds and had four blocks for Notre Dame (13-4).

The Bulldogs led by 34 points at halftime and held Doniphan to just six points in the second half.

Allyson Bradshaw led Notre Dame with 16 points and six assists. Lacy Boeller added 13 points.

Scott City rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat rival Chaffee on the road.

Chaffee led 29-22 entering the fourth quarter, but the Rams outscored the Red Devils 21-12 over the final eight minutes.

Notre Dame posted seven first-place finishes in the dual meet at Central Pool.

Morgan Morris led the way with for Notre Dame with victories in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly. She also swam legs on the victorious 200 and 400 freestyle relays. Lauren Castleman added wins in the 100 freestyle and also was a member of the 200 and 400 relays.

Central's Lizzie Schmidt also won two individual titles, claiming the 100 breaststroke and 200 IM. She also swam on the Tigers' winning 200 medley relay.
