Jackson senior Sierra Maddox took first place in the girls pole vault at the University of Kansas Relays in Lawrence, Kan., on Saturday.
Maddox vaulted a stadium record 11 feet, 9 inches at Rock Chalk Park.
"It's probably the biggest track meet in the Midwest," Jackson coach James Stoverink said, noting the magnitude of Maddux's achievement.
Jackson senior Dylan Rush finished fifth in he pole vault at 14-10. Senior Clay Darnell placed eighth in the discus with a toss of 168-0.
Ritenour 1, Perryville 0
The Huskies scored the game's lone goal in overtime as the Pirates fell to 5-5-1.
Taylor Pingel made three saves for Perryville.
