Leopold claimed a 25-19, 26-24 volleyball win at St. Vincent on Monday night in a potential Class 1, District 4 championship match preview.

Denai Arnzen had three kills and 11 digs for the Wildcats, while Sydney Eeftink had 14 assists, four aces and two kills.

"We made mistakes, but we also did a lot of things well," Leopold coach Sandy Davis said about the close second game. "St. Vincent is a good team and they capitalized on out mistakes; but luckily, we were able to pull it off."

Leopold is the top seed in the district tournament, which opens on Monday at Meadow Heights in Patton, Mo., while St. Vincent is the No. 2 seed. Both teams will receive first-round byes.

Notre Dame 25-21-25 Dexter 22-25-19

Kaitlyn Welter tallied eight kills, 21 assists and eight services aces in the Bulldogs' three-game road win.

Lydia Goodson finished with 18 kills, while Taylor finished with 11. Carson Powers had 30 digs.

It marked the third time Notre Dame (28-2-1) defeated Dexter (26-4) this season.

The teams could also meet in the semifinals of the Class 3 District 1 tournament that begins Monday at Notre Dame.

Perryville 25-25 Jackson 17-11

Senior Kaylie Hadler had four kills and two digs to help the host Pirates to their 26th win of the season.

"Tonight was senior night and we had one senior on the roster in Kaylie Hadler," said Perryville coach David Mirly, who saw his team improve to 26-4. "Kaylie's doing an outstanding job of leading this team. She's the heart and soul of this group and I'm so proud of her."

Libbi Schnurbusch had two service aces for the Pirates.

Chelsea Fowler had five kills and Hailey Mouser had three kills for Jackson (9-17-3).

JV -- Perryville won 25-9, 25-22

Poplar Bluff 25-25 Central 11-21

The Tigers lost at home in two games.

McKenzie Bess tallied seven kills while Emily Diamond had 15 assists for Central.

JV -- Central won 25-15, 25-14

Clearwater 25-25 Scott City 14-12

Clearwater recorded the road victory in two games.

BOYS SOCCER

Perryville 10, Fredericktown 0

Juan Hernandez scored four goals in a convincing home victory for the Pirates.

Iann Bergman finished the game with two goals while Dylan Jannin, Emilio Mattingly, Matt Moran and Kyle Wood all scored a goal.

Perryville improved to 19-3.
