The Leopold boys basketball team used a balanced attack to overcome a 35-point performance by the Hornets' Lane Below for a 73-68 win Friday night at home.
Austin Bucher and Zach Beel both scored 15 points for Leopold (18-3), while Dillan Vandeven and Cameron Davis both finished with 13 points.
Austin Miller netted 16 points for Advance (15-9), but he was the only other Hornet beside Below to score more than six points.
The Wildcats extended a 23-21 halftime lead to 47-38 by the start of the fourth quarter.
