Cameron Davis collected a game-high 22 points to help the third-seeded Leopold boys basketball team debut its season with a 71-26 victory over No. 6 Meadow Heights on Tuesday to secure a spot in the semifinals of the Woodland Invitational Tournament.

Austin Bucher added 14 points and Andrew McWilliams tallied 10 points for the Wildcats (1-0).

Leopold will face second-seeded Oak Ridge (1-0) in tonight's second semifinal at 8 p.m. Top-seeded Perryville (1-0) and host No. 4 Woodland (1-0) square off in tonight's other semifinal at 6:30 p.m.

Tyler Cook paced Meadow Heights (0-1) with eight points. Meadow Heights will face No. 7 Delta (0-1) in a consolation semifinal at 5 p.m. tonight.

Fifth-seeded Scott City avoided a scare from No. 8 Zalma as the Rams prevailed 70-60 in Tuesday's consolation semifinal.

Trent Pobst recorded a game-high 27 points for the Rams (1-1). Braden Cox added 16 points and Dominic Hooper recorded 13 points, nine rebounds, four assists and four steals. Isiah Berry tallied nine points, four assists and three steals for Scott City. The Rams will play the winner of Meadow Heights and Delta for the consolation title Thursday at 5 p.m.

Brent Overbey led the Bulldogs (0-2) with 21 points.
