Jacob McClain reached base all of his five times at bat and drove in five runs to lead the Kelly baseball team to its first win of the season Friday, a 15-2 road win in conference play over East Prairie.
Ty Householder went the distance on the mound to get the win for the Hawks. He allowed two earned runs while striking out seven and walking three.
Levi Alsup doubled and added three RBIs while Nathan Vicenzi notched a double and two RBIs for Kelly (1-2, 1-0 Scott-Mississippi Conference).
Dalton Coots sustained the loss for the Eagles. He pitched five innings and gave up seven runs (five earned) on five hits. He struck out four and walked five.
Derez Tipler doubled twice to pace East Prairie (3-1, 0-1).

Jarrett Newell produced a double, but the Tigers handed the Indians their first loss of the season in Jackson.

Cody Robinson was the winning pitcher for Gosnell. He threw 4 1/3 innings and gave up four earned runs on three hits with three strikeouts and five walks. Guy Bennett got the save, pitching a no-hitter in 1 2/3 innings with two walks and no strikeouts.
Andrew Scott recorded a double with two RBIs to lead the Pirates.
