All the local high school events reported Thursday to the Southeast Missourian.

The Jackson wrestling team picked up a pair of wins over Dexter and Poplar Bluff in a tri-meet at home to finish the regular season undefeated at 10-0.

The Indians thumped the Mules 59-13 and then rolled over the Bearcats 61-16.

Jackson's junior varsity squad also finished its season with a 10-0 record.

Dayton Shepard nailed a game-high 26 points to pace Kingston (1-16).

Rachel Crites netted a game-high 18 points to lead the fourth-seeded Indians to victory over the eighth-seeded Lions in a consolation semifinal of the Lindbergh Invitational Tournament.

Rylee Stafford sank 14 points and Cassidi Tomsu tossed in 11 points for Jackson (10-6).

Taylor Fortner had 14 points and Jordyn White added 11 points to pace Northwest (5-11).

The Indians will play sixth-seeded host Lindbergh tonight at 7 p.m. for the consolation title. The Flyers (5-11) downed seventh-seeded Oakville (6-11) in Thursday's later consolation semifinal to advance.

Senior Maddie Daum scored 23 points to lead the fifth-seeded Tigers past eighth-seeded Freeburg (Ill.) in a consolation semifinal of the 34th Annual Hillsboro Invitational Tournament.

The Tigers trailed 27-25 at halftime but outscored the Midgets 38-31 in the second half.

Tramonee Stewart and Abbie Reece chipped in nine points each for Central (6-10).

Julia Whitworth recorded a game-high 24 points and Emily Vahlkamp added 12 points to pace Freeburg (4-16).

The Tigers will face seventh-seeded Seckman for the consolation championship at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Sam Brennan recorded a double-double with a game-high 17 points and 10 rebounds, as well as five steals, but it was not enough as the third-seeded Bulldogs fell short to the sixth-seeded host Saints in the opening round of the 35th Annual Queen of Hearts Tournament in the suburban St. Louis area.

Hayli Chapman drained 16 points, all from the behind the arc, and Cheyenne Sander grabbed 10 rebounds to pace Notre Dame (3-13).

Grace Lombardo and Brooke Carter scored 16 points apiece to lead Villa Duchesne (8-7).

The Bulldogs will face Lutheran North at 5:30 p.m. today in a consolation semifinal. The Crusaders (9-7) fell to Whitfield (6-8) 55-42 in a later quarterfinal on Thursday.
