The Kelly baseball team pushed across two runs in the seventh inning and another in the eighth Wednesday to upset the No. 3 ranked team in Class 2.

The Hawks downed Clearwater 4-3 in eight innings behind Levi Felter's two innings of one-hit ball in relief. Ethan Lee started for Kelly (9-9) and struck out two over six innings.

Dustin Crowden and Josh DeBrock both went 2-for-3 in the win.

The Cubs scored four runs in the seventh inning, but it wasn't enough as the host Bobcats held on.

Shelby Kight pitched 6 2/3 innings for the win. Don Stafford recorded the final out for the save.

David Nettles, Cody Naramore and Aaron Criddle all had two hits for Delta (4-11).

Jeff Long homered among his two hits for the Cubs.

Jesse Long stroked three hits, including a home run and double.

Long also drove in two runs, but the Cardinals (5-13) lost the home contest.

Woodland's Kyle Reynolds started on the mound but was taken out after the first inning with stiffness in his right elbow.

Long pitched five innings of relief and took the loss.

Reynolds went 3-for-4 with three RBIs.

The host Eagles enjoyed an 11-9 lead after five innings, but the Warriors tacked on eight runs in the final two innings to post the victory.

Zac Chasteen took the loss for Oran.

Jake Carter went 3-for-4 and scored three times, while Chasteen collected two singles and a double while knocking in two.

Bobbi Jo Schlick had a goal and an assist, while Katelyn Myracle and Erin Eakens added one goal apiece.

Megan Davidson, Kasey Crowden, Kelsey Bierman and Tori Smith contributed assists.

Morgan Riddick and Brooke Sanders each played one half in the nets to share the shutout.
