All the local high school events reported Tuesday to the Southeast Missourian.

Chase Hagerty struck out 12 batters in throwing a four-hit complete game on his home field as the Central baseball team defeated Dexter 3-1 on Tuesday.

Central plated two runs in the fourth inning and added a run in the fifth for a 3-0 lead. Dexter scored its lone run in the sixth.

Hagerty walked four batters for Central (2-3).

Jason Mattison took the loss. He went the distance and allowed three earned runs on six hits with four strikeouts and one walk for the Bearcats (2-2).

Dexter's Austin Aldridge hit a double for the game's only extra-base hit.

Senath-Hornersville 5, Kelly 2

The unbeaten Lions scored three runs in the sixth inning on their way to the road win.

Jon Harris was the winning pitcher for Senath-Hornersville (4-0). He went the distance and allowed two unearned runs on four hits with seven strikeouts and one walk.

Ty Householder took the loss for Kelly (1-4). He pitched 5 1/3 innings and gave up four earned runs on five hits with five strikeouts and four walks.

Scott City 6, Advance 1

Hunter Copeland had a double and two RBIs as the host Rams notched their second win of the season.

Bryan McNeeley picked up his first win on the mound for Scott City (2-6). He pitched a complete game, allowing five hits, striking out eight and walking two.

Isiah Berry went 3 for 3 for the Rams.

Brian Whitson took the loss for Advance (1-4). He allowed 15 hits in going the distance, striking out four and walking three.

Dawson Mayo had a double and drove in the lone run for Advance.

Clearwater's Steven Carter had a double among his three hits as the unbeaten Tigers picked up the win at home.

Bryce Alcorn was the winning pitcher for Clearwater (4-0). He gave up three hits, struck out seven and did not issue a walk.

Eric Hillis and Riley Burns each had a double.

J.D. Jenkins took the loss for Woodland (4-3). He gave up 11 hits and seven runs--four earned -- over 4 1/3 innings.

Landon Johnson and Levi Green each had a double for Woodland.

The host Rams only needed four innings to dispose of the Hornets in a rematch of last year's Class 1 District 5 tournament title game, which the Rams won 9-0.

Jamie Glastetter picked up the win in the circle for Scott City (3-2). She went the distance and recorded nine strikeouts. She also went 2 for 3 at the plate and drove in two runs.

Valerie Bahr and Lexi Hennecke each had a double.

Hannah Clark took the loss for Advance (4-1). She pitched three innings and allowed 13 runs --10 earned-- on nine hits.

Sierra Owens belted two triples and drove in four runs to lead the Cardinals in a three-inning road romp.

Danielle Gillis notched her first win in the circle for Woodland (2-4).

Mara Grindstaff added a triple and Rachel Baker had a two-run double.

Jenny Pullam sustained the loss for Zalma (0-3).

Megan Hawk, Rylee Stafford and Tomsu each had an assist for Jackson (5-0), which led 2-0 at halftime.

Sarah Blanton made four saves at the goal for the Indians.

St. Vincent 1, Fredericktown 0

Faith Kapp scored the lone goal on an assist from Courtney Brown to give the Indians the win at home.

Goalkeeper Abby Rollet posted the shutout for St. Vincent (3-2).

Fredericktown fell to 0-4.

The Bulldogs won one singles and one doubles match in a loss at home.
