High school roundup: Galemmo nets game-winner in Saxony Lutheran girls soccer team's win over Notre Dame

Ali Galemmo scored the lone game-winning goal on an assist from Brianna Mueller to lead the Saxony Lutheran girls soccer team to a 1-0 home win over Notre Dame on Tuesday.

Saxony Lutheran upped its record to 14-2 while Notre Dame dropped to 5-12.

Poplar Bluff 1, Central 0

Poplar Bluff's Hannah Burnett scored the lone goal to lead the Mules (6-11, 1-1 SEMO Conference) in the conference victory over the visiting Tigers.

Goalkeeper Katie Kinder had six saves to pace Central (6-9, 1-1).

Scott City 8, Charleston 3

Drew Short and Caden Hillemann each hit a double as the Rams picked up the conference win on the road.

Jordan Kluesner was the winning pitcher to lead Scott City (12-11, 4-0 Scott-Mississippi Conference).

Braden Cox had three hits and Dylan Keller had two for the Rams.

Bruce Simmons sustained the loss on the mound to pace Charleston (2-10, 0-3).

Brandon Sokolowski also had three hits for the Hornets, while Brendan Crader, Michael Hood, Alex Morse and C.J. Seger each had two hits.
