The Eagle Ridge girls basketball team clamped down defensively after the intermission Friday night.
The Eagles only allowed one point over the final 16 minutes of the game in their 31-10 victory over visiting Westwood Baptist.
Lindse Hamby paced Eagle Ridge (8-2) with 12 points.

Jackson advanced to the semifinals with an 87-59 victory over Rockwood Summit in the opening round.
Senior Bobby Clark scored 24 points and Zach McDowell added 16 to help the Indians improve to 11-5.
Jackson converted 70 percent (21 of 30) of its free throws and enjoyed a 19-point lead at halftime.
