High school roundup: Dexter girls basketball team continues streak vs. Notre Dame

Dexter enhanced its standing as the top girls basketball team in Southeast Missouri with a 74-42 victory over Notre Dame in a matchup of state-ranked Class 4 squads Monday night in Dexter, Mo.

The victory was the second consecutive for Dexter (18-2), ranked No. 5 in the latest Missouri High School Basketball Coaches Association (MBCA) poll.

Annie Siebert scored 12 points, and Miranda Fowler added 10 points for 10th-ranked Notre Dame (18-4).

Brittany Harris scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Bearcats. Alison Jarell added 17 points, including five 3-pointers, while Mollie Whitehead contributed 13 points for Dexter.
