High school roundup: Delta girls basketball team survives Crusaders' last shot

Delta withstood a missed shot at the buzzer to hold off Saxony Lutheran for a 40-38 home victory in girls basketball action Monday night.

Machela VanGennip led the Bobcats (4-2) with 16 points and seven rebounds, while Macey Parks had nine points and four assists.

Abby Hadler and Maci Daniel both had 10 points in the loss for the Crusaders.
