The Chaffee track and field team will send another strong contingent to Jefferson City, Mo., for the Class 1 state meet.
Junior Luisa Boschan, a foreign exchange student who won the Class 1 girls cross country title in the fall, won the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 to advance from Saturday's Class 1 Sectional 1 to the state meet.
Sarah Sigman also was a winner, claiming the long jump title.
On the boys side, Jordan Yahn won the 800 for the Red Devils
Six Chaffee relay teams also advanced. The boys and girls teams both moved on in the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 relays.
Oran's Shane Anderson moved on in the discus and shot put. He'll be joined at the state meet by teammates Haley Glastetter and Baily Carlyle.
Bell City's McKenzie Vines qualified for the boys 1,600 and 3,200.

The Jackson girls finished third at their district meet at Rockwood Summit.
All three of the Indians' relays advanced to the sectional meet, along with five individual qualifiers.
Jill Rushin won the shot put and discus, while Landon Wachter took first in the 800 and second in the 400.
Paden Wachter finished second in the shot put to advance for Jackson.
For the boys, the Indians had three qualifiers for the sectional meet.
Chris Reed took first place in the pole vault to lead the Indians.
Central's Zach Horrell captured the discus title to lead six Tigers boys qualifiers. Matt Deisher took second in the pole vault.
The Central girls will send four qualifiers to the sectional. Asia Thomas paced the Tigers by winning the 200 and 400. Mary Dohogne was second in the 1,600.

Perryville's Casey Brewer finished second in the discus and third in the shot put to qualify for the sectional meet.
Jacob Brewer was the lone qualifier on the boys side for the Pirates, finishing second in the discus.
Notre Dame's Grant Eudy tied the school record to take first in the high jump, while Joe Froemsdorf finished second in the pole vault. Wynn McClellan advanced in the 1,600 and 3,200.
The Bulldogs' 400 relay took third to move on to the sectional meet.
