Notre Dame's duo of Carly Hopkins and Grace Powderly won three matches to win the doubles championship in the Sikeston Individuals Invitational Tournament.
Hopkins and Powderly received a bye in the first round, then swept Sikeston's Mackenzie Alsup and Kaylan Butler 8-0 in the second round. The semifinals pitted the two Bulldogs against Kennett's Kayton Harris and Anna Beth Williams where they were victorious 8-3. They then edged Kennett's Alexa McPherson and Heidi Shetley 9-7 in the final.
Notre Dame's Sylvia Kolda and Katie Strange also received byes in the first round of the singles and both won their second round matches before they fell in the semifinals to Kennett's Hadley Hilburn and Sikeston's Ali Price, respectively. Hilburn defeated Price for the singles title.
