Alex Crowe was on fire from long range to help the Chaffee boys basketball team win its season opener.
Crowe scored 24 points -- all the damage coming on eight 3-pointers -- as the Red Devils routed host Greenville 64-28 on Tuesday night.
Andrew Terhune added 14 points for Chaffee, followed by Jordan Yahn with 10.
The Red Devils led 11-7 after one quarter and 27-13 at halftime before totally breaking things open in the second half.
