The Central boys tennis lead built a 6-1 lead over Dexter before rain stopped doubles play on Wednesday afternoon at Central High School

Alex Mailes, Derek Nunnery, Jonah Roop, Vikas Rudrappa and Caleb Strickland all earned singles victories for the Tigers.

The Tigers, who finished 26 strokes behind Jackson at Notre Dame Invitational on Monday, earned a victory over the Indians and Crusaders.

Central's Kobe Franklin claimed medalist honors with a score of 33 at the three-team tournament held at Cape County Country Club.

The Bobcats scored the decisive run in the fifth inning of their home win.

Ciara Coomer allowed just one hit in five innings to earn the victory for Delta (3-1).

Shiann Claiborn was 3 for 3 with a triple while Rachel Birkman drove home three runs.
