Jackson senior Ryan Gibson won the 100 butterfly and took second in the 200 freestyle at Saturday's prestigious Cape Rock boys swimming meet.
Host Central's Sam Gramling won the 100 freestyle, while teammate Caleb Coots touched first in the 200 individual medley to help the Tigers tie for seventh place. Notre Dame also tied for seventh.
The Bulldogs qualified for state in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1 minute, 47.25 seconds.
Notre Dame's Dustin Parsons also qualified for state in the 100 butterfly.

The Jackson girls captured first place with a score of 56.
Tori Parry was the Indians' top runner, placing third, while Taylor Dickerson took fifth.
Lindsey Seabaugh rounded out the top 10 for the Indians.
Elizabeth Kiblinger paced third-place Notre Dame with a 12th-place finish.
Scott City's Melanie Lacey came in seventh.
On the boys side, Scott City's Brandon Shemonia continued his impressive season with another victory. He covered the course in 16:22.72.
Notre Dame finished second with 87 points, led by Ethan Holcomb's sixth-place finish.

Kickapoo defeated Central 25-13, 25-14, followed by Columbia Rockbridge knocking off the Tigers 25-14, 25-9.
