Kassidy Pannier made five 3-pointers to lead the Tigers with 15 points as fifth-seeded Central pounced to a 75-43 victory over seventh-seeded Herculaneum and clinched seventh place in the 33rd annual Hillsboro Tournament.

Maddie Daum finished with 15 points, four steals and three assists while Kelly Morton added 13 points for the Tigers. Bailey Bliss recorded 11 rebounds and Sarah Boerboom snagged 10 rebounds in the win for Central (4-13).

The Central wrestling team earned 51 points and took 10th place in the 16-team Liberty Invitational Tournament on Saturday in the suburban Kansas City area.

Ty Moore was the top finisher for the Tigers in the tournament. The sophomore wrestler finished in fifth place in the 120-pound division after falling over Kearney JV's freshman Aaron Border in 4 minutes, 6 seconds.
