High school roundup: Central boys basketball team reaches final of Potosi tourney

Senior T.J. Tisdell's double-double Thursday helped the Central boys basketball team advance to the title game at the Potosi tournament.

Tisdell finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds in the Tigers' 47-33 victory over Fredericktown.

Garan Evans added 13 points, including three 3-pointers for Central (2-0).

The Tigers hit 84 percent of their free throws (16 of 19).

The Cubs will play Kelly at 5 p.m. today for the consolation title.

Bell City (1-1) trailed 34-32 at halftime before taking control with a 29-11 third-quarter advantage.
