Central's Jamal Cox and Andre Statam each had a double-double as the Central boys basketball team picked up its first win of the season Friday with a 54-42 victory over Farmington at Central Junior High School.
Cox collected 20 points and 10 rebounds while Statam had 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers (1-4). Al Young added 14 points.
D.J. Hardy scored a team-high 14 points for the Knights while Jordan Ankrom contributed 11 points for Farmington (1-3).
