Winning pitcher Chase Hagerty hit two doubles to lead fifth-seeded Central to a 6-5 victory in 10 innings over eighth-seeded Dexter in a consolation semifinal of the SEMO Conference tournament on Saturday.
Trevor Pobst, the winning pitcher, added a triple. Pobst threw one inning and gave up two runs on two hits. Pobst got the save for Hagerty, who pitched for the first nine innings for Central (8-13) and recorded nine strikeouts.
Austin Aldridge went the distance for Dexter. Cody Neldon had a double to pace the Bearcats.
Dexter (6-10) defeated New Madrid County Central for seventh place in a game later Saturday.
Central will face Jackson at 2 p.m. Monday for fifth place at Capaha Park. The Indians defeated New Madrid County Central 11-1 in Saturday's other consolation semifinal.

The Eagles scored all their runs in the seventh inning as their comeback against state-ranked Neelyville fell short in a game played at Malden, Missouri.
